This friday I will make a picture pareade on this and the main blog, anouncing the winning slipper, and granding points.

Progress pictures on the slippers

First I made the paper pattern, then I placed it on my felted
cloth part, and cut it out, close to the paper.

Then I went trough some of my embroderie thread, This is

some of those Michael like (the slippers is for him)

Then I started on the embroderie part, this is going to take time:)

For making a pattern for some slippers 10 points
for making a pair of slippers 10 points (begining a pair and not finish them 5 points)
extra for cables, stranded colourwork ore embroderie 10 points
The total for all 3 above 30 points

Making the sketches for my slippers

This is the picture that I want to make as embroderie on the felted slippers that im making.

As we speak im making the fabric, a tube of knitting, I have cast on 75 st on a size 5 mm circular needle and im knitting in 100% wool a thick yarn.








I have got a lot of questions on how to make these slippers, the photo of the slippers are in my notebook on ravelry, and will be here soon to.

These to photos is how I make the pattern for the slippers. These are not knitted, but made from a felted fabric, last time I made a pair I made them from an old sweater.

The first thing you have to do is making a drawing of your foot.

The next thing is to mesure around the foot print, and you ankle, and how high you want the slipper to go up your foot.

Now you have a pattern in paper, find a fabric and cut it, sew it up an vola you have a slipper.

The first assignment ~ Casting runes

Winther time is ower us, an all of us can use someting warme like a pair of slippers.





This is going to be your wery own magic slippers. The task is to make a pair of magic slippers.


1) You have to use your Ancient Runes book.


2) using Elder Futhark, you have to make a protection spell on the slippers to help you (ore the one you are giving the slipers too)


3)Make a pair of slippers, material and craft is optional, you can doo what you want, as long as the slippers has a Rune on them.





You are wellcome to ask questions here, ore on Ravelry, I would love to see a lot of progress pictures and perhaps some new patterns... :)
